Terms of Use for field.

These terms are an agreement between you and field., an individual operating in Singapore ("we", "us") about your use of the field. app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What field. is

field. is an iPhone app that helps you understand and support a partner's menstrual cycle. It shows estimates of where she is in her cycle, general information about each phase, and suggestions for things you could do. Some suggestions link to products or bookings sold by other companies.

2. Not medical advice

The app gives general information and estimates only.

• It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, nurse, or other qualified professional.
• Cycle and phase predictions are estimates from the dates and lengths entered. Real cycles vary, and hormonal birth control, stress, illness, age and many other things change them.
• Do not use the app for contraception, to plan or avoid a pregnancy, or to make any medical decision. It is not a fertility or birth-control tool.
• If she or you have a health concern, ask a health professional.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give accurate information. Estimates are only as good as the dates you enter.
• You may delete your account at any time in Profile, then Delete account. It is permanent and immediate.

4. Information about another person

The app asks you to enter details about your partner. By entering them you confirm that:

• you are entering what she has told you or what you know first-hand, and you will try to keep it accurate;
• you have told her you are using the app, and you will stop or remove her details if she asks;
• you will not use the app to monitor, track or pressure anyone who does not know about it or has asked you to stop.

How you use the app, and what you say or do with her, is your own choice and your own responsibility.

5. What you may not do

• Use the app to harass, control, stalk or deceive another person.
• Try to get into someone else's account or data, or to break the app's security.
• Copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the app or its content.
• Use the app for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

6. Suggestions, content and your own judgment

The suggestions and articles are general ideas written to be helpful. They are not guarantees. Whether a suggestion suits her, your relationship, or the moment is for you to judge. We do not promise any result from using the app, including how she feels, how she responds, or how your relationship goes.

7. Products, bookings and other companies

Some suggestions link to products or services sold by other companies, for example on Shopee. When you follow a link:

• Your purchase is a contract between you and that company, not us. Price, stock, delivery, returns, refunds, warranties and any problem with the item or booking are theirs to handle under their own terms.
• Prices, delivery times and descriptions shown in the app are approximate and can be out of date. The retailer's page is the source of truth.
• We may earn a commission from a purchase at no extra cost to you.
• We do not endorse, inspect or guarantee any product or seller, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other companies' sites.

8. Our content and your content

The app, its text, design and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own personal use. The information you enter stays yours; you allow us to store and process it to run the app as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and changes

We try to keep the app running but do not promise it will always be available, error-free or secure. We may change, pause or stop any part of the app. We may update these terms; if the change matters, we will tell you in the app first. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

10. Disclaimer and limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• The app and everything in it are provided "as is" and "as available", with no promise that the information is accurate, complete, current or suitable for any purpose.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. That includes loss caused by reliance on an estimate or suggestion, by a purchase or booking made through a link, by anything another company does or fails to do, by what passes between you and your partner or anyone else, and by data loss or service interruption.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or emotional distress.
• Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for everything connected with the app is limited to the greater of SGD 100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or, where the law protects it, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore can hear disputes, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your home courts.

12. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, for maintenance or support, or for any claim about it. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you can tell Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (the app is free, so there is none), and Apple has no other duty to you about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo or on a US prohibited-parties list.
